B + N got married on a beautiful Saturday in July at The Joinery, an industrial venue downtown Chicago featuring an amazing skylight, exposed ducts & beams, and white-washed brick walls. The urban setting was softened by the couple's use of greenery, white flowers, and soft candlelight. The couple and their families put together most of the decor prior to the wedding and they did an amazing job. In addition to setting out the floral arrangements and centerpieces, we arranged the floral piece attached to the ceremony arch.
The couple had access to the Joinery's bridal suite, which they got ready in, as well as an apartment that can be used to stay the night in and an on-property guest house that the couple's family used.
The Joinery also has a wonderful outdoor courtyard where cocktail hour was held. Here, the couple also set up a painting station where guests were able to contribute to a canvas that the couple planned to hang in their home.
